I’ve been a mermaid at heart since I was just 3 years old. My favorite Disney Princess is Ariel, and if I were her, I’d never give up my tail to become human.

I began my mermaiding journey in 2021 at Merschool in Kyalami, where I trained and graduated as a professional mermaid. Mermaiding isn’t just a passion—it’s also an exciting water sport that’s growing in popularity among kids and adults alike.

When I’m underwater, I feel completely free and at peace. Being a mermaid allows me to express myself and embrace the magic of storytelling, becoming anyone I want to be. Mermaids are kind, loving, and respectful of humans and nature, especially the oceans and sea creatures we care so much about. That’s why protecting our oceans and reducing pollution is something I hold close to my heart.
